Thursday I taught at Kamitoshibetsu day-care in the morning. I actually had a helper today aside from Iinuma san. A girl from Meto contacted the office about coming along with me to some of my lessons because she has a certificate to teach English but doesn't have any experience. So she's going to tag along a couple of days a week I think. She is also going to teach me Japanese on Wednesdays for 1 hour during my work day. That's really good because the next two speeches I give have to be done in Japanese. I'm sure those are going to be memorable speeches. Especially the one I have to give to the entire Ashoro Junior High School population at my Welcome Ceremony! After work I coached the basketball team. Half way through the practice a bunch of guys in suits walked into the gym and over to the side I was coaching on. Two of them were my co-workers and I had no idea who the rest were. I think they were just coming to check things out and show me off. They never did come over to introduce themselves. Friday What a slow work day! I didn't have anything on my schedule until 3:50pm.
